About these rules
We hope that this forum is an enjoyable one and hope that we will rarely need to edit, modify or delete posts. We have these rules to create a friendly environment for all members where individuals are respectful of each other. Normal banter is expected in this forum as long as it doesn’t go ‘too far’! We have a duty to ensure that the work and privacy of others is respected; the forum staff and many of our members have worked hard to ensure that this is a valuable resource everyone can enjoy. Please note that the rules listed below apply to posts, private messages, visitor messages, signatures, avatars and other parts of your profile.
General rules
1. Do not:
a. Flame or abuse other individuals
b. Republish any content removed by the forum staff
c. Post pornographic or otherwise offensive content
d. Post Spam
e. Post anything which could be potentially libellous or open to misinterpretation
2. Do:
a. Respect the copyright and bandwidth of other individuals, groups or organisations
b. Post in a way which is consistent with "normal writing" by avoiding excessive use of punctuation; large/small, uppercase or multicoloured text; "txt spk" or emoticons
c. Use an appropriate, descriptive title when posting a new topic
d. Respect the privacy of others.
Signatures, avatars and accounts
a. Signature images must be no wider than 550 pixels and no higher than 200 pixels - if two signature images are used, they must fit within these parameters. Up to 2 lines of standard sized text may also be included
b. Avatars must be no wider than 150 pixels and no higher than 110 pixels
c. Any animations in avatars or signatures must be reasonable and not excessive
Moderation policies and penalties
Moderators reserve the right to edit or remove any post, signature, avatar or other part of your profile at any time without prior warning. Moderators will try and explain, where possible as to why a post has been modified/deleted. If a resonable suggestion is made by Private Message or via the Forum itself the moderators may look at it, and possibly take the comment on board.
